We’re excited to share the four super cards that our Yoto Club Members have received this summer:
Fantastic Mr. Fox
Roald Dahl
Top of the list is Roald Dahl’s Fantastic Mr Fox. Our crafty hero has a tricky task on his hands to outsmart the terrible trio of Boggis, Bunce and Bean. There are laughs aplenty to be had alongside the thrills, and the whole family will be rooting for Mr Fox and his cunning plan to succeed. The story is read with aplomb by actor Chris O’Dowd, who grown-ups might recognise from The IT Crowd. 
Jason and Medea
Storynory
In the first of a Storynory card pair, this is the classical Greek myth that you might also know as Jason And The Golden Fleece or Jason And The Argonauts. Told in poetry form, this version of the story emphasises the roles of both the hero and heroine of the title. Get set for an epic quest taking in fierce dragons, magic potions and mesmerising witches.

Story Explorers
National Literacy Trust
This five-part podcast by the National Literacy Trust brings together How To Train Your Dragon author Cressida Cowell and a room full of schoolchildren with lots of questions! Their fun- filled conversations take in why she loves books and listening to audio stories, and how she came up with the idea for her dragon series (it involved living on a remote Scottish island with no television and a mountainside that looked like the back of a dragon).
